Armen is currently searching for his next sports broadcasting opportunity. He was the sports director for KLEW in Lewiston, Idaho for three years, spanning from July 2017 to July 2020. He rebuilt the Friday night high school football coverage, while also covering multiple major university sports teams, including Washington State, Idaho, and Lewis-Clark State.
Armen has also reported on many news stories such as a school shooting, an investigation into years of missteps at a local airport, the coronavirus pandemic, Black Lives Matter rallies, and being one of the first reporters on the scene when a star football player at a nearby college died by suicide.
Originally from the Greater Los Angeles area, Armen is a graduate of the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism. At UO, Armen was the sports director for Duck TV, the university's student run television network, and interned with Oregon’s athletic department.
